Busybody lawmakers actually supporting legislation to prohibit restaurants from serving food to obese customers, as defined by the state. Wow. I’m nearly speechless. I used to talk about how the logic of the drug war, the smoking bans and other nanny state policies would bring us to this day. But I expected it to take decades for it to reach such levels of insane paternalism and wicked tyranny. Thanks to Daniel Coleman for the link.
