Obama’s Trifecta: The 3 Biggest Lies

With his latest ad, “Your First Time,” President Barack Obama has now completed his trifecta on the the 3 Biggest Lies in the World.

You remember those, don’t you?
#1: The check is in the mail.
#2: I’m from the government and I’m here to help you.
#3: Of course I’ll still respect you in the morning.

#1: OK, speaking strictly literally, Mr. Obama hasn’t actually lied about this one: for roughly 60 million Americans (not counting the exploding number of those collecting disability), the check is in the mail—only it’s a welfare check. Not exactly the pay-off candidate Obama promised his change would bring: an America working again, with a deficit cut in half.

#2: If you think the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (“Obamacare”) passed under the current administration has helped or is going to help you—free contraception!—you’re in for a rude surprise when its provisions actually start kicking in—well after the coming election—in 2014. Higher costs, longer waits, less personalized care—kind of like all the other “services” government provides.

#3: The Obama team has come up with an ad I’m sure they’re just hugging themselves over as the ultimate in cleverness, “Your First Time,” and it must be watched to be believed:

Ah, yes, he certainly sweet-talked us—he promised us the moon and the stars: peace, prosperity, and liberty. And Ms. Dunham and a majority of her fellow voters bought his line, letting him have his way with them.

Unfortunately, the morning after he turns out to be the most murderous Nobel Peace Prize winner of all time, who has deepened the recession, and further denuded our civil liberties.

Like countless girls loved and left before her, Ms. Dunham’s having a hard time waking up and smelling the coffee. We can but hope there are enough real women who see this Lothario for what he is.
